Tess and I have been trying to plan our next vacation but we aren’t quite sure where to go. We have a few couple friends who have told us about places they have gone and really enjoyed so we have been shopping around to find the best locations and prices. We really want to go to a place that is for couples only and that is all inclusive. We have been looking at places ranging from Orlando vacations to cruises to Mexican resorts. We have heard a lot of good things about all three. If you have any advice please let me know. We are looking for something that lasts about 4-7 days and is around 3-4 grand all inclusive including airfare.
Why does working out at a gym have to be soo dull. I used to be able to work out fior hours on end…now I can barely make it past an hour before i am bored out of my mind. I wish they had some kind of crossfit gym around here I would definitely join that, but instead I belong to 24 hour meat market. Lately i have really ben tryign to vary my work out ill try to combine a lot fo different work outs like row machine, bicep curls am push ups, but i cant bring myself to do more then 10 min at a time on any specific piece of equipment. I just get bored and I fel like my body gets into a routine so that I am not burning as many calories. I am also not a fan of aerobic gym equipment. Don’t get me wrong that stuff is great it just doesn’t work for someone like me who has severe work out a.d.d. I feel like a hamster on a wheel anytime I step foot on a treadmill for more then 10 min. If anyone has some good work out ideas please pass them my way.
This sucks I have been sick now for about 3 weeks. I have had everything from a fever and sweats to shakes, cough, sneezing and exhaustion. I keep waiting for the ill feeling to go away but it hasn’t gone yet. I was hoping to get back to the gym this week but so far it doesn’t look likely. Everytime I think I am going to feel better enough to go my nose starts running again or my lungs start to feel like thye are full of liquid. I have also been losing tons of weight and muscle mass due to being sick…:( which really sucks. Sickness seems to be better then the best weight loss pill when it comes to weight loss. All I really want to say is stay healthy there are some funky sicknesses out there this winter and I wouldn’t wish this one in particular on anyone.
Have you ever had one of those days where you just say whats the point? Where you feel like you are on the verge of either absolute bliss or utter insanity. Where you are perfectly balanced on the edge of a steep cliff but with one gust of wind you could be sent tumbling down into the sheer abyss. Where you feel like one moment you could fall asleep in a nice field of grass and the next you may be spotted charging a cell tower only to climb to the top where you would release a tremendous rebel yell. Yeah… I am pretty much there. I have been sick for about 2 weeks now and I am hoping to see its end soon. I also keep thinking that everything with the economy is going to get better but nothing really seems to be improving. I just don’t get it…people keep losing their jobs yet no new jobs are being made even though we are told the economy is going to boost up again. I have an idea how about we get those without jobs to go downtown and clean up our streets. I mean it will give them something to do while they receive unemployment. Secondly we should stop supporting people who have over 5 kids. If you have over 5 kids you are automatically unable to receive tax dollars. If you have 4 kids you cannot receive tax dollars until you get your tubes tied. I have more ideas but ill save those for another post…this stuff is getting old. Things were supposed to change.
This last weekend I went on a trip to Seattle with my Girlfriend. It was a whole lot of fun. We were able top eat tons of food, we saw lots of sights and slept well. I would definitely recommend visiting there at least once. I think my favorite aspect of the city was that it appeared clean and was not very crowded. I mean what more could you want out of a city. The whole trip went well. We had no problems with getting around the city and all of the store windows were full of nice things like jewelry and Swiss Army watches. There was alos a lot of nice cars in that city..there is definitely lots of money up in the Seattle area.
Tess and I are headed off on a vacation this Wednesday, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve been working like crazy, and busy with my internship, and we are still unpacking the apartment. It will be nice to get out of town.
While looking up vacation packages, I stumbled across Branson Missouri getaways, and it made me think of Tess and her best friend Crystal. Crystal is from Missouri, but lives in North Carolina. If we could meet them in Missouri, it wouldn’t cost quite as much, and it would be a cool experience. While looking at this site, I found that there is a lot more to do in Missouri than I thought. Branson has all kinds of shows, like Amazing Pets, we’ll have to check that one out. There are also theme parks, which would be fun to go to with Tess. We’ve never been to a theme park together, and it’d be funny to watch her freak out (she’s afraid of roller coasters). The site also had great deals on lodging, which is nice because we’re always trying to save money.
This vacation we’re heading to Seattle, but in the future though, I think we might just have to check out Branson. It could be a lot of fun!
