Being stuck at home waiting for my new job to start I’ve had a lot of time to research things online. The more I think about it, the more I think owning a ranch would really suit me. I would love to buy an old work truck and fit it with truck accessories for the farm life. I could raise cattle or sheep and just live the simple life. Maybe someday T and I will move to Wyoming or something and live on a ranch. That would be sweet!
Today I was bored so I went through our external hard drive where T keeps all of our pictures. It amazes me that she takes so many. They were great to look through, and some really funny ones in there. I always act like I don’t want her to take them, but I’m glad she takes so many pictures. Maybe I’ll go through them and post a few to share. I think I know what to get T next year for Christmas-a nice camera. She’s been wanting one and hopefully by then I’ll be able to afford to get her one she deserves.
I don’t know if it’s the weather or what, but I’ve been coughing up all kinds of junk like I’ve got mesothelioma or something. I think it’s all the rain and not being as active as I normally am, but I feel like I have a bunch of fluid in my chest. Hopefully it goes away soon and I don’t have to go to the doctor.
Lil T has been non stop about our wedding since we got engaged. I shouldn’t be surprised, she gets excited about stuff like this. I’m excited too, but not really about all the girlie planning stuff. Just tell me where to be and I’ll be there. But I am happy to plan the honeymoon. I’m just glad T is so much like me and doesn’t like crowds. We don’t plan on going on any Disney vacations, we’re going to Mexico instead, to an all inclusive resort in Cozumel. We might even opt for the couples only resort, where we don’t have to worry about kids running around and being noisy. It’s too bad we have to wait until next year to go. I say screw the wedding, let’s just get married in the courthouse and go NOW!
It’s been crazy stormy here in Northern California. I love the cold weather but the rain makes it hard to do anything. Cooped up here in the house with the dog is started to drive me nuts. The poor guy has been getting soaked just going outside to potty, and I’m having to research how to cure eczema in dogs. I think a good ol’ bath might do the trick, and actually drying him off for once. Hopefully this rain stops soon and we can both stretch our legs a little bit.
Ok, still no job and now slowly no money. I’m trying to come up with ways to earn some extra cash while I wait for my damn job to start. I thought I could buy diet pills and then sell them online, but there’s already a market for that. I don’t really want to start up the cleaning company again and deal with complicated taxes if I’m just going to start the new job at the end of the month. What to do, what to do…right now I’m just looking for something else, and hoping something good comes along. I’m really starting to hate this crappy economy!
Well I’ve started filling out the appropriate pain in the ass background check that needed to be done for my new job as a security guard/EMT. I am excited about starting, but not looking forward to this long process. The people at my new company said this will take about 3 weeks to complete, which means I won’t have any money coming in. I’m starting to worry that I’ll need to take some joint pain relief because my body is sore from sitting around all day. UGH….hurry up new job. I’m ready to be productive already!
I don’t know what the deal is. Maybe it’s because I don’t take the time I should and comment on other people’s blogs, or maybe my blog isn’t listed in the right diretory submission services but I can’t seem to get anyone to comment on here except my fiancee (thank you Lil Wombat!) But seriously, it’s kind of sad that I don’t have more readers, considering I’ve had this blog for almost two years now. What gives?
I was able to ring in the New Year acnefree this year. Maybe it’s because things aren’t that stressful lately. I’ve got a new job to look forward to, and a new fiancee! We spent our New Year’s eve with some family and friends. I got to see my friend N, who was visiting from Brazil and whom I haven’t seen in at least a couple of years. She got to meet T, and I got to meet her boyfriend, who I’m happy to say is a nice guy.
After the family party we went to a house party, which was actually kind of lame. It was just beer pong which we weren’t up for playing. We left after the clock struck midnight, happy to crawl into bed. A pretty uneventful New Year’s but happy all the same.
