Pickle In Your Pocket

I start my new job on Sunday. Sunday night that is. I’ll be working the graveyard shift which will be a huge change from the nine to five schedule I’m used to. It should be pretty fun though. I think they’re giving me a Sunday-Thursday rotation so I’ll at least get to have Friday and Saturdays with the wifey and friends. And as T keeps reminding me, this isn’t forever. Still, I hope the job turns out to be something I can do for at least the next six months or so, while I wait for Cal Fire’s hiring season.

One of the perks to getting married, besides being with the love of my life, is saving money and discounts. We’ve been looking at auto insurance quotes to see if having one joint account will save us cash versus each having our own insurance with two companies. It’s kind of a pain in the ass because every insurance company has different coverage. It should all be the same don’t you think? So we can compare, apples to apples as the annoying insurance commercial says on tv. I hate that commercial, but I hope we do save some cash soon!
