Pickle In Your Pocket

Last night T and I had a fun discussion about bucket lists. We came up with a new list, the Before Baby list. We both want to have kids fairly early, but we still have a few things we’d like to do together as a couple before we’re saddled down with kids, dark eye circles from no sleep, and no energy. Don’t get me wrong, having kids will be awesome, but we bitch about being busy now! Just wait til we have kids to take care of on top of everything else.
So here’s our Before Baby list so far. Most of it is just traveling together, something we haven’t had the chance to do yet.

• Go on a real camping trip. We’ve only been tent camping at someone’s house, which doesn’t really count.
• Go to Vegas. I’ve never been, and T has only been with her family. We don’t really have a huge desire to go, but it feels like a rite of passage that I just need to do before I’m a dad.

• Travel to at least one of the following:

-New Zealand (this would be awesome, but it might have to wait til our  kids are grown since it’s so damn expensive)

-Alaska

-Hawaii

• Go on a cruise together. Maybe to Alaska!
• We’d also love to go on a long road trip somewhere in the US. We could do this with kids, but it’d be more fun just us.
• Go to a tropical island-we’re going to Cozumel for our honeymoon, so that’s probably close enough. Can’t wait to kick back and relax together!
