Pickle In Your Pocket

One thing I’ve noticed on this trip to Carmel is the number of rare and super expensive cars. We must have seen at least two or three Ferrari parts driving into town, not to mention Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, etc. There is a car show happening the weekend after we leave so I assume that’s why all the cars are here. That’s the thing about Carmel-lots of rich folks with beautiful homes and nice cars. It would be so nice to be able to afford to one day retire here and roll in with my own Ferrari.

While I was gone on vacation, I took my Subaru to my local shop and had them install some of the parts I’ve been needing to put in the car, but haven’t had the tools or the time to do it. I put in new fuel injectors and a new turbo. They dynoed it for me for free, and it’s now running at 280 HP. I wasn’t putting the new parts in for the extra horse power, but I’m not gonna complain.

My girlfriend and I have been sooo freaking busy lately…Between our new cleaning company and trying to buy a hose plus work, we haven’t had much time to do anything. I myself have been very overwhelmed. We have found a number of places we like but we keep getting outbid. Kinda sucks…oh well sooner or later we will get something.Then we can start packing up our shipping boxes and start the move. I hope we can find a place by december, that is my goal. I have also been spending time an money on my car. I have always wanted a hobby and it seems that I am finally getting one. I still have a number of parts which need to be put on the car and hopefully with time I will get the car where I want it to be. Its my daily driver so it is hard to balance the install and the time. But I am managing.

This past weekend my gf and I cleaned out the garage. We got rid of a bunch of stuff we no longer needed as well as buying storage shelves so that we could get most of the boxes off the ground and out of the way. I now have enough space in my garage to fit my car…finally. Unfortunately there is not enough space int he garage to actually do any work on the car. So for now I will have to beg my friends with larger garages to let me come over and do some work on my car. Hopefully they are okay with that. I have a number of friends who are really into cars so I am sure they would have no problem letting me barrow the garage for a night or two.

I just had to let people know about this new technology…could save you tons on gas.
