Pickle In Your Pocket

My girlfriend and I have been sooo freaking busy lately…Between our new cleaning company and trying to buy a hose plus work, we haven’t had much time to do anything. I myself have been very overwhelmed. We have found a number of places we like but we keep getting outbid. Kinda sucks…oh well sooner or later we will get something.Then we can start packing up our shipping boxes and start the move. I hope we can find a place by december, that is my goal. I have also been spending time an money on my car. I have always wanted a hobby and it seems that I am finally getting one. I still have a number of parts which need to be put on the car and hopefully with time I will get the car where I want it to be. Its my daily driver so it is hard to balance the install and the time. But I am managing.

I was exploring my parents house the other day and I came across a number of cool things I hadn’t found in awhile like my old coin and stamp collection as well as some old clothes and such. But I also stumbled across a number of red buttons which had been set back in the wood. I immediately remembered what they were. They were Panic buttons left over from when we had out old security system. The way they worked is similar to a bank alarm. If you were in the house and near a button and someone tried to break in you could hit the button and it would sound the alarm. I remember when I was a little kid I hit it and took my parents quite a while to find the shut off switch for the home security system. The system is no longer hooked up, which means our house is no longer protected. I am not sure if I think it was right for my parents to unhook the system or if i think they should have left it up. There a re a number of systems out there and maybe in the future they will find one that fits there needs and once again they will have an alarm I don’t really know.
